Towson University’s Biomechanics Lab seeks a Postdoctoral Fellow for a Creative Forces: National Endowment for the Arts funded study on the biomechanics of Dance/Movement therapy, supervised by Dr. Elizabeth Bell. The fellowship is available for up to 18 months starting in June 2025 (flexible) at an initial salary of US $56,880 plus full fringe benefits and an annual 3% COLA.
Applicants must be U.S. citizens and hold a completed PhD in biomechanics or a related field. The position is based in Towson, MD, and requires relocation to the Baltimore/Washington metro area, with occasional travel to Bethesda, MD. Well-qualified candidates will have doctoral-level experience with machine learning, IMU sensors, electrocardiograms, and/or experimental gait analysis of individuals in a clinical setting.
