Fully funded positions are available for graduate students interested in studying lower extremity biomechanics focused on the foot and ankle through our M.S. and Ph.D. programs at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC). These positions will work in collaboration with Orthopaedics, Sports Medicine, and Physical Therapy at UNMC, Children's Nebraska, and the University of Nebraska System on research projects that involve image-based biomedical modeling, biomechanics, machine learning, and clinical gait analysis.

Required qualifications:
- A minimum of a 4-year U.S. Bachelor's Degree or international equivalent
- A minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale.
- Demonstrated English proficiency for non-U.S. citizens.
- Proficiency in programming (MATLAB, Python, etc.)
- Previous experience with biomechanical projects, medical imaging data, motion analysis, or machine learning is considered an asset but is not essential
- Degrees in Biomedical Engineering, Biomechanics, Computer Science, or other related areas.
