Biomechanics Research Associate open position at The Ohio State University College of Medicine:
The individual will be responsible for the collection of biomechanical (Delsys Trigno, Bertec balance plate) and electroencephalographic (ANT Neuro EEG) data in human participants for the purpose of enrollment in and assessment during a randomized phase II prospective trial evaluating a modified Argentine dance intervention in breast cancer survivors who are experiencing neurotoxicity after exposure to chemotherapy. The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent communication skills, act independently and seamlessly in a multi-disciplinary team, and be adept at managing movement and brain activity time-series data generated within the clinical trial. National Institute on Aging (NIA) Funded R01 for 4 years on biomechanics and brain activity of cancer-related neurotoxicity.
MS in Kinesiology, Biomechanical Engineering, or comparable field required. In addition to lead for data collection at the lead site in this multisite trial (OSU), the position involves technical support for the second site at Yale University Cancer Center, in collaboration with a counterpart RA at Yale.
