Highly motivated applicants with a background in mechanical engineering and biomedical engineering are invited to apply for a fully-funded MSc position in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Ontario Tech University. The position will provide an exciting and interdisciplinary research opportunity to integrate knowledge of musculoskeletal modelling and statistical shape modelling in the field of running biomechanics. The position is fully funded, and the student will be enrolled in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. The target start date will be January 2026 (flexible).

Required Qualifications:
- Experience with musculoskeletal modelling software (OpenSim/AnyBody)
- Proficiency with programming language (Python/MATLAB).
- A minimum GPA of 3.6 on a 4.0 scale
- English Proficiency (an overall score of 6.5 or higher for IELTS)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and proven ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with data collection is an asset.
- Background in mechanical engineering or biomechanics.
