The Department of Kinesiology (formerly Public Health and Exercise Science) at Appalachian State University is accepting applications for MS graduate students for Fall 2026. There are several graduate assistantships awarded on a competitive basis across all areas of Kinesiology. Specifically, the following faculty members are actively engaged in biomechanics related research in state-of-the-art laboratories: Herman van Werkhoven, Alan Needle, Jeff McBride and Jared Skinner.
