  • PhD position in Rehabilitation and Biomechanics Lab at University of Colorado Anschutz (Aurora, CO)

    The Rehabilitation and Biomechanics (RAB) Lab at the University of Colorado Anschutz is recruiting a PhD student starting in Fall 2027. The student will join an NIH-funded project investigating dynamic joint stability in the neck in individuals with generalized joint hypermobility. The RAB Lab is highly interdisciplinary, integrating engineering, biomechanics, and rehabilitation in a supportive and collaborative research environment.

    This student will join the Rehabilitation Science PhD Program at the University of Colorado Anschutz in Aurora, Colorado.

    Desired background:
    • Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering, Kinesiology, or related Masters Degree preferred
    • Significant clinical and research experience or a professional degree (e.g., PT, OT, MD)
    • Problem-solver, strong analytical skills; coding experience (Matlab, python, R) is a bonus
    • Strong communication and time-management skills required
    Applicants with a Master's Degree or Professional degree are preferred, but highly-motivated BS-level students with strong research experience will also be considered.
