  • MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship Opportunity: Spain-Canada Collaboration on Adaptive Neurorehabilitation using FES

We are seeking an outstanding early-career researcher to join an international collaboration between the BioRobotics Group at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC, Spain) and The BioMechatronics Lab at Brock University (Canada) to co-develop a research proposal for the competitive Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Global Postdoctoral Fellowship. The MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship is a prestigious European grant designed to support researchers' careers and foster excellence through international mobility. The proposed fellowship will leverage functional electrical stimulation (FES), wearable sensing, biomechanics, and adaptive control techniques to innovate new neurorehabilitation strategies that enhance walking performance and improve mobility in individuals with neurological impairments. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to help shape the research program while working within a highly collaborative, interdisciplinary, and internationally connected research environment.
