    The Boise Applied Biomechanics of Infants (BABI) Lab at Boise State University is seeking a highly motivated PhD student to join our Biomedical Engineering program beginning Spring 2027.
    This fully funded PhD position will focus on menstrual biomechanics, an emerging area of research with important implications for women’s health and human movement. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead innovative, interdisciplinary research while working in a collaborative environment with clinical and industry partners.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • BS or MS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Kinesiology, or a related field
    • Prior experience conducting human-subject research
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
    • Interest in advancing research and knowledge in women’s health and biomechanics
