I am wondering if anyone has experience/advice on how to sync a Lode Excalibur sport cycle ergometer with delsys EMG that is collected through VICON? I want to be able to collect power output from the LODE during a 30-s Wingate test while simultaneously collecting synchronized EMG signals that correspond to the cycles of the pedal stroke during the trials. I plan on using VICON to capture the pedal stroke using a reflective marker ball and keep it unlabeled, I am hoping to synchronize EMG with the pedal stroke that way. The LODE bike can be operated in analog, which leads me to believe that there might be a way to connect the LODE with DELSYS . Delsys is collected through VICON already so if the LODE can talk to DELSYS in theory, power output, EMG signal, and crank cycle can all be synchronized together for subsequent analysis.
