At the recent meeting of the ISG in Waterloo, Ontario, it was decided to hold elections for the ISG Board Members positions again. As I have completed two terms and will not be standing again, the task has fallen on me to coordinate the election.
The first stage of this is to ask for nominations. Note that all candidates must be full members of ISB, and all ISG members wishing to cast a vote must also be members of ISB, according to our operating codes. If you would like to nominate someone (including yourself) for membership of the ISG board, please send an email to me (e.k.j.chadwick at keele.ac.uk). If you are nominating yourself, please include your ISB membership number in your email; if you are nominating someone else, please send me their contact details.
Nominations will remain open until October 10, 2014. At this time, the list of candidates will be circulated and an email poll carried out. The board consists of five members, and the Chair is chosen by the elected board.
Kind regards,
Ed Chadwick.
