The Division of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy at USC announces two 3-year postdoctoral
fellowship positions, funded by the National Center for Complimentary and Alternative Medicine
(NCCAM; NIH), to study the biomechanics and functional adaptations associated with Yoga participation
in healthy older adults. Candidates must be competent in biomechanics, quantitative motion analysis,
EMG measurement, and clinical research. Physical therapists, exercise physiologists, gerontology
researchers, and researchers studying complimentary & alternative activity interventions,
with training in biomechanics, are also encouraged to apply.

Research programs at MBRL encompass a broad range of disciplines, including biomedical engineering,
anatomy, rehabilitation, orthopedics, robotics, geriatrics, athletic medicine, gait, and tissue mechanics.
