Invitation to Submit Candidacy for a Tenure Track Position



The Department of Physical Therapy, the Faculty of Social Welfare & Health Sciences at the University of Haifa in Israel, is happy to announce the search for a candidate for a tenure track academic position for the 2010-2011 Academic Year.

The candidate will be required to develop research programs, submit proposals for research grants, teach in the baccalaureate and master's degree programs, and supervise graduate level students in lab and field research work within the topics of the study of Physical Therapy.

Priority will be given to an individuals whose academic rank is already Associate or Full Professor.

Requirements:



PhD or its equivalence.

Relevant academic background in Physical Therapy

Peer reviewed publications in scientific journals.

Teaching experience.



Candidates are requested to submit the following documents:

Introductory letter containing a description of areas of research, proposed future research plans, and a description of potential contribution to the Department.

Detailed Curriculum Vitae including list of publications, previous places of employment, teaching experience including course subjects, participation in conferences, research grants.

1-3 publications

Names and e-mail addresses of three references.
