Dear Biomch-L readers,

De Luca Foundation ‘Motor Control’ Student Travel Awards:

De Luca Foundation (DLF) will grant eight (8) travel awards for students attending WCB 2018 (link below) . Each award consists of an amount of US $ 500 and the applicant must be a graduate student at a domestic or international academic institution. The applicant must submit an abstract to the category “Locomotion and Human Movement” and subcategory “Motor Control”, and the abstract must be accepted for presentation as either a poster or oral presentation. For consideration, the candidate must 1) submit electronically an abstract on this website, 2) select the category “Locomotion and Human Movement” and subcategory “Motor Control” from the drop-down menu on the abstract submission system, and 3) select to be considered for the De Luca Foundation “Motor Control” Student Travel Award under the Awards section on the form. The selection is made by the DLF Committee based on the scientific quality of the abstract submitted. Proof of abstract acceptance, graduate student status, and travel to WCB 2018 will be requested by DLF for disbursement of the award.
