The program committee has determined to extend the deadline for abstract submission to Saturday, December 22, 2017, 11:59 PM EST.

The Gait and Clinical Movement Society would like to invite you to participate in the 2018 GCMAS Annual Conference to be held May 22-25, 2018 at the Crowne Plaza-Downtown Indianapolis at Union Station, Indianapolis, IN. Abstracts in all areas of human movement analysis are welcome, and will be selected for the 2018 scientific program via a competitive, peer-review process.
The 2018 Program Committee encourages submissions related to the following topics:

  • Clinical decision support for the diagnosis, treatment planning, and monitoring outcomes of patients with movement dysfunction
  • New tools and technologies for the study of movement
  • Advances in rehabilitation of patients with movement dysfunction
  • Function of muscles, bones, joints and other structures in health and disease
  • Clinical case studies

The program committee is planning for two special sessions that will run concurrently with platform sessions. The special sessions will be called thematic poster sessions. Themes may naturally be formed by organizing submitted abstracts or intentionally chosen. Suggested themes for this conference are: update on utilization of multi-segment foot models, use of inertial sensors in clinical motion analysis, application of motion analysis in the management of post-ACL reconstructed knees, clinical motion analysis in the management of post-concussion testing.
