Hello Alex,

What are the use-case (or study objectives) you intend to use in-shoe plantar pressure measurement for? The data sets from an in-shoe system and a force-plate quite different and so I don't think you can substitute one for the other. If you are looking to conduct studies and research which requires pressure distribution over the plantar aspect of the foot there are several tools available.

Full disclosure, I am the Director of Product Management at Orypx, which makes a plantar pressure measurement tool called LogR. LogR is a low profile, easy to use tool which you can use in and outside of a lab setting. If you are interested in more information about LogR please feel free to reach out to me directly.
