The laboratory UTC CNRS UMR 7338 Biomechanics and Bioengineering (http://www.utc.fr/bmbi/) at the University of Technology of Compiègne (France) is seeking to appoint a postdoctoral researcher to undertake a research project related to cell modeling, funded for a period of 12 months.

The successful candidate will work in a multidisciplinary team to develop a 3D cell model at the membrane level to simulate interactive behaviors between cell and environmental factors influencing physiological and aging processes. Queueing theory will be applied to take the high randomness of the substance exchanges at the membrane level into consideration.
It is expected that the successful candidate will conduct research and publish scholarly papers in peer reviewed journals. Applicants should have a PhD in the area of computational biomechanics and have experiences in cell modeling and numerical analysis.
