On behalf of the Gait & Clinical Movement Analysis Society (GCMAS), we are pleased to announce that we are now accepting tutorial and symposia proposals for the 2019 GCMAS Annual Conference in Dallas, TX. The meeting will be held at the Frisco Conference Center from March 26-29, 2019. Meeting details are available at http://www.gcmas.org/conference.

The deadline for submission is November 5, 2018 11:59 pm EST.

All proposals will be reviewed and scored by the GCMAS Education Council. Proposals that align with topics outlined by the Program Chair will be selected for tutorials and/or symposia by the Conference Program Council. Creative proposals in all areas of clinical movement analysis are welcome. We encourage proposals on topics such as:
Scapular, upper extremity, trunk motion capture
EMG processing methods
Wheelchair movement analysis
Static and dynamic balance measurements
Brain imaging during functional tasks
Measurement other than motion analysis (e.g., metabolics, physical activity, pressure)
Big data research/machine learning
OpenSim and musculoskeletal modeling
Concussion or PTSD evaluation
ACL injury, rehab, and surgical interventions
Clinical sport protocols
Orthotic prescription for neurological disorders and gait disturbances
Prosthetic components and how they function
Orthopedic/surgical outcomes for healthcare providers (treatment decision making)
Research designs including single-subject designs
Newer statistical analyses
CMLA accreditation/best practices for accreditation
Establishing collaborations between clinicians and researchers
Setting up a successful gait lab (best practices, challenges, lessons learned, etc.)
Mentoring or other professional development topics

All presentation formats are welcome, including podium presentation, pro/con debates, panel discussions, etc.

Guidelines for Proposals
Proposals should include the following sections: title, instructor(s), purpose, intended audience, prerequisite knowledge, and outline of course content. Please prepare proposals with a 12-pt font and limit length to two pages.

At the time of submission, you will need to provide the name and contact information (including email address) of each speaker. Each speaker will be required to complete an online disclosure statement for CME/CEU accreditation. These disclosures will be coordinated through the Program Council after proposal acceptance.

Learning Objectives
The submission form will require authors to submit a one-sentence learning objective. The learning objective should be of the form: At the completion of this presentation, attendees will be able to (recognize, measure, explain)

Notification of Acceptance: December 2018

Each accepted proposal will be awarded one free registration (including banquet ticket) to the 2019 Annual Conference. The recipient of this registration is at the discretion of the submitting author.
