    Tenure-Track Assistant Professor, Biomechanics, Toronto, Canada

    Position: Biomechanics of Musculoskeletal Health and Injury Prevention at the Assistant Professor level

    YORK UNIVERSITY, School of Kinesiology and Health Science, Faculty of Health, Toronto, Ontario

    Applications are invited for a tenure-track professorial-stream appointment in Biomechanics ofMusculoskeletal Health and Injury Prevention to commence July 1, 2019. Salary will be commensuratewith qualifications and experience. Applicants should have a PhD in Kinesiology or related field with anongoing program of research and focus on human movement, in particular to lower limb biomechanics asit relates to musculoskeletal health, injury prevention and/or rehabilitation. Relevant postdoctoralexperience will be an asset. Successful candidates must demonstrate excellence or the promise ofexcellence in teaching and externally-funded research and be suitable for appointment to the Faculty ofGraduate Studies. Teaching experience with demonstrated use of pedagogical innovation usingtechnology-enhanced learning and/or experiential education is preferred.
