They showed slow-motion, high-speed video of Hill while Smoltz [correctly] described the kinetic chain from the legs to trunk to arm. This exemplified what this discussion found, namely that the kinetic chain is a popular concept in sports of coordination through sequential body parts, but a consensus of specifics are lacking in biomechanics.
