    The University of Utah’s Kinesiology program is seeking to hire teaching faculty members at the rank of instructor or Assistant Professor (lecturer), beginning Fall 2019. This is a non-tenure track position intended to be a long-term position within the University’s Career-Line Faculty structure, with a renewable contract and multi-year appointments.

    Seeking to build upon its reputation as state and national leaders, the Kinesiology program is looking to hire teaching faculty members. Candidates must have at least a Master’s degree, preferably a Ph.D. in Kinesiology or a related discipline. Candidates must demonstrate the potential for teaching excellence. Responsibilities include teaching a variety of courses based on specialization. Examples may include Biomechanics, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Aging and Exercise, Motor Development, Motor Learning, Exercise Psychology, Introduction to Movement Sciences, Exercise Programming, and/or Promoting Physical Activity in the Community. Opportunity for some of the candidate’s effort to include laboratory management/study coordination is also a possibility.
