Post-Doctoral Fellow / Research Faculty Position, AI/Machine Learning in Computational Biomechanics, Center for Orthopaedic Biomechanics, University of Denver

An opening is available for a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the University of
Denver in the area of AI/Machine Learning with application in Computational Biomechanics/Healthcare. Current research interests include surgical planning and execution and estimation of patient biodynamics. Qualified candidates may also be considered for Research Faculty appointment within the appropriate Engineering or CS Department. The successful candidate will be expected to lead and conduct advanced research projects, and interface on these projects with stakeholders, including industry, graduate students, and other faculty. Excellent post-doctoral salary available, including benefits. Starting date negotiable, early 2019 preferred.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
+ PhD degree in computer science or related engineering degree
+ Knowledge of current tools/algorithms and experience with custom code development
+ Excellent oral/written communication skills and interpersonal skills
+ Simultaneous understanding of engineering mechanics preferred
