The Musculoskeletal Analysis Laboratory within the School of Health Studies at The University of Memphis is currently seeking a Master’s-level Biomechanics graduate assistant to start fall 2019. A research assistantship is available to work within the Musculoskeletal Analysis Laboratory with Dr. Max Paquette.

Research projects will focus primarily on the influence of exercise interventions on the biomechanics of walking in middle-aged and older adults. Additional projects will be related to the influence of biomechanical and training-related factors on running-related injuries.


The assistantship is typically nine months (with some limited options for summer funding), and include a monthly stipend and full tuition waiver for the fall and spring semesters (9 credit hours per semester).
