Hi All,

From reading literature it would appear that when measuring RFD it is a lot more common to use an isometric contraction as opposed to concentric or eccentric but this is just accepted and never usually justified. I wondered if anybody could shed light onto why this is the case or whether there is a paper that explains this as surely an isometric contraction is less ecologically valid most of the time?
