Dear All,

we are considering using 3D body scans as input training examples for machine learning to learn detecting different anatomical landmarks and body part segments (e.g. head, lower/upper arm/leg etc.; similar research work has been done in past).

Is there any (preferably freely) available repository of 3D body scans (primarily in a standing position). Moreover, if such database would have the accompanying 2D images and/or ground truth data about segmented body parts, it'd be even nicer.

For example, we'd like to research methods of detecting a spine curve on 3D scanned human back and/or 2D image with the ultimate goal to study scoliosis etc.

Thank you all in advance, TP.
