Position:
Tenure track, Assistant or Associate Professor of Biomechanics appointment beginning August 2020.


Requirements:
Earned doctorate (ABD considered) in Kinesiology with a concentration in Biomechanics. Applicants should have a record of scholarly work and ability to develop a focused agenda for independent research in their discipline. Previous university-level teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate levels is highly desirable.

Professional
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Biomechanics and related areas such as Anatomical Kinesiology.

Duties:
The successful candidate is expected to establish a strong research program supported by internal and external funding, engage in collaborative research endeavors with existing faculty members, contribute to the mission of the department in undergraduate and graduate education, supervise/advise undergraduate and graduate majors, and engage in departmental, college, and university service.

Salary:
Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
