I am looking at the development of muscular power in the upper body,
specifically, the stretch shorten cycle, elasticity and stiffness of the upper
body musculature and the effect of plyometric type training. I have Kaneko et
al., (1983) paper on the training effect of different loads and Moritani et
al. (1987) study using a similar testing/training device. Does anyone know
of other work in this area or anyone studying upper body power.
