We are currently investigating the ability of an individual to rotate a
cylindrical object (i.e., a bar) about its longitudinal axis given a
certain opposing torque. Does anyone have any ideas about how to
measure/calculate the grip pressure that would be required to keep the
hands fixed upon the bar as the motive torque is applied?

Your help is greatly appreciated.
